What is "Lagniappe"? The word "lagniappe" is a Creole term from the Louisiana region, where a little something extra is given as a gesture of goodwill and gratitude. It embodies the spirit of going above and beyond, and that's precisely what we aim to do in our projects and initiatives.

Our Mission
Founded in August 2021 Lagniappe has become an important part of our community.
We continue our mission by creating compelling educational materials and supporting efforts to Mentor, research, and help to facilitate changes in state and federal law to allow American farmers to grow the crop once again and bring new industry to under-served communities. Our Vision
Our vision for hemp is to create a world where everyone has access to its many benefits. We aim to educate the public about the environmental, economic, and health benefits of hemp. We will provide mentorship and resources for hemp farmers, entrepreneurs, and researchers to further our understanding of hemp. We will strive to improve "green energy" infrastructure for hemp production and processing, as well as develop more sophisticated aqua phonic systems for growing hemp and produce. Our ultimate goal is to create a sustainable system for producing hemp-based food, housing, and clothing...Our three basic needs of survival. By doing so, we will be able to create a more sustainable future for all.
